Thread: Can't login server via putty nor FTP

hi

new forum. , still learning ubuntu , whatnot. anyway problem i've been having trouble ubuntu on seedbox lately. login server via putty , ftp root. read somewhere can't change that. im not sure. have user created name , pw logging browser rutorrent. works fine. i've been troubleshooting problem friend , said it's beyond knowledge @ point , told me try here. thing when in ftp (filezilla client) whenever upload seedbox comes under "owner/group" tab root root in download folder whereas if download seedbox via ftp comes thumbz thumbz (my username) under "owner/group". don't know why. friend said if user thumbz created, should able login server username. there must wrong in setting said. tried adduser command in putty , got in return:

adduser: user `thumbz' exists.

tried other commands didn't much. i'm beginning lose hope. mean started doing 2 days ago , before i've never had problem.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
