Thread: PanP4; booting a FAT32 USB thumb drive

i've got panp4 bios shipped (1.02.22s76). when creating bootable usb drive, i've found panp4 not boot usb thumb drive formatted fat32 boot 1 formatted fat. limits bootable usb thumb drive old 1gb model , precludes me installing distro dvd iso image. limitation function of bios? software i'm using create bootable usb thumb drive (universal usb installer pendrivelinux.com) proposes format thumb drive fat32 (i don't let software format thumb drive) i'm thinking must work on machines. windows won't format usb drive larger 1gb fat (insists on fat32) when poor old usb drive bites dust i'm out of luck.

curious. thanks.
