"Locating Media" taking AGES... can't open project (CS6)

hello,

 

while i've been away @ university have been editing film external hard drive on macbook pro (with windows 7 installed), old 17" core 2 duo 2.4ghz macbook pro. while it's struggle, handles editing no way able render film in full hd in time need for, , catch on fire before finished exporting it.

 

but anyway, @ home now, have desktop pc - core 2 quad, 3.00ghz, 4gb ram, windows 7 , when began project used machine , project ran fine. have used machine films in past , never had issue, it's been great edit on , exporting quicker laptop.

 

but there's problem. i've come home , need export film tuesday's premiere. project won't open on desktop pc. it's fine on laptop, when open in premiere cs6 on desktop displays box "locating media..." bar half way across seems stuck. program isn't frozen seems not importing anymore, it's given up. i'm not sure do, can't project.

 

what causing problem?

is possibly pc looking original file (im assuming located on pcs hard disk before being copied external drive), , hence cant find it?  try 'link media' command tell program on desktop physical file located

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
