Update server not responding Windows 8

just installed adobe creative suite cs6 on windows 8 machine , having problems adobe updating service...

 

"the update server not responding. server might offline temporarily, or internet or firewall settings may incorrect"

 

i checked host files, certificates , firewall access, seemed ok.

i tried navigating network , sharing center>change adapter settings, found connected wifi , unused ethernet (which tried disabling).

restarted pc , still problem persists in updating cs.

i need help!!!

rebooted few times while making changes still fails allow me update... should reinstall whole software?

i have exact same situation exact same issue. i've checked you've checked , still can't update.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

lately i've been trying out lots of old windows games (on cd's bought legally) have lying around on wine heck of it. 5 or 6 years old , many don't run on windows 7! been hit or miss. what's worked reliably install game on old windows xp desktop, this: copy relevant folder in program files (for example: c:/program files/warcraft iii) of windows computer usb stick. paste in linux directory (anywhere) configure wine d: drive point @ d: drive, ex: /media/warcraft iii/ find promising .exe file in folder copied windows (like warcraft3.exe) , execute wine. , works charm games! however, in ubuntu think i've installed (while running linux, put cd drive, open installer, install) , run 1 program in linux successfully. happens this: cd automatically mounts, , configure wine's d: drive in /media/warcraft iii/ i'll run installer.exe wine wait game install, seems work fine next time try start game, says "please insert warcraft iii cd...
