Extensions available for social networking site - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi everyone,

i'm pretty new joomla (have fiddled oscommerce before, different) , i'm trying create local social networking site searchable profiles. it's pretty facebook, sports-minded people.

the concept simple (in mind, not joomla) - create profile using generic text box describing , add "sport of preference", baseball. then, users there can either enter keywords on search field can match profile, or go tab called "baseball" , spot profile there.

the problem i'm having don't know keywords search modules want add. tried following:

"searchable users"
"custom user profile"

but bombarded either user-related tutorials, or easy profile extension (which not fit need). can point me right extension kind of venture? appreciate help.

probably mean community builder, i'd rather change zend framework or other , write portal scratch.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

lately i've been trying out lots of old windows games (on cd's bought legally) have lying around on wine heck of it. 5 or 6 years old , many don't run on windows 7! been hit or miss. what's worked reliably install game on old windows xp desktop, this: copy relevant folder in program files (for example: c:/program files/warcraft iii) of windows computer usb stick. paste in linux directory (anywhere) configure wine d: drive point @ d: drive, ex: /media/warcraft iii/ find promising .exe file in folder copied windows (like warcraft3.exe) , execute wine. , works charm games! however, in ubuntu think i've installed (while running linux, put cd drive, open installer, install) , run 1 program in linux successfully. happens this: cd automatically mounts, , configure wine's d: drive in /media/warcraft iii/ i'll run installer.exe wine wait game install, seems work fine next time try start game, says "please insert warcraft iii cd...
