Do I need another database? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi all,

i'm trying start first website using joomla , wondered if can out on what's best practice do. want create website members can add own records database access rest of database analysis.

my current/newbie thinking best have separate database may grow lot in size - rather creating new tables amongst joomla database (so if end migrating in future it's not tied 'old' joomla website).

do think best course of action or there 'best practice' of how should handle this?

can not imagine purpose allow users go inside database, if dream, sure separate whole website - joomla database, if dont want, user mess website :)

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

lately i've been trying out lots of old windows games (on cd's bought legally) have lying around on wine heck of it. 5 or 6 years old , many don't run on windows 7! been hit or miss. what's worked reliably install game on old windows xp desktop, this: copy relevant folder in program files (for example: c:/program files/warcraft iii) of windows computer usb stick. paste in linux directory (anywhere) configure wine d: drive point @ d: drive, ex: /media/warcraft iii/ find promising .exe file in folder copied windows (like warcraft3.exe) , execute wine. , works charm games! however, in ubuntu think i've installed (while running linux, put cd drive, open installer, install) , run 1 program in linux successfully. happens this: cd automatically mounts, , configure wine's d: drive in /media/warcraft iii/ i'll run installer.exe wine wait game install, seems work fine next time try start game, says "please insert warcraft iii cd...
