Embedding code into articles - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

not sure sure should asking here. i'm trying embed html / javascript code joomla article. have searched around forums , can see various solutions, however, not quite sure correct method. i'd tried removing script , iframe tiny editor exclude rules, didn't help. appreciated.

i sorry, absolute plonker feel. under "prohibited elements" section of editor - tinymce plugin configuration, there comment says, quite clearly, "do not leave empty". meaning if want permit enter text e.g. cms
