i ask 2 more questions @ point.

(1) got congratulations screen joomla installed received error ...
"notice
your configuration file or directory not writable or there problem creating configuration file. have upload following code hand. click in text area highlight of code , paste new text file. name file 'configuration.php' , upload site root folder."

i can copy , paste text , name 'configuration.php' want make sure putting in right place. on computer "root" folder place new document , ...

(2) required delete joomla installation folder. so, actual intallation folder? (i paranoid might screw since appears close using program , beyond installation).
as can tell not real comfortable unix , root folders. wish through without error create. patience of forum members.

1) root folder folder extracted distribution file to.
2) can have installation procedure remove folder you. fail because ownership/access not configured on site. can try remove folder yourself. folder called installation , exists in root folder.

it not thing configuration.php not being created installation. make sure correct that. joomla requires webserver have write access root folder , below.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

lately i've been trying out lots of old windows games (on cd's bought legally) have lying around on wine heck of it. 5 or 6 years old , many don't run on windows 7! been hit or miss. what's worked reliably install game on old windows xp desktop, this: copy relevant folder in program files (for example: c:/program files/warcraft iii) of windows computer usb stick. paste in linux directory (anywhere) configure wine d: drive point @ d: drive, ex: /media/warcraft iii/ find promising .exe file in folder copied windows (like warcraft3.exe) , execute wine. , works charm games! however, in ubuntu think i've installed (while running linux, put cd drive, open installer, install) , run 1 program in linux successfully. happens this: cd automatically mounts, , configure wine's d: drive in /media/warcraft iii/ i'll run installer.exe wine wait game install, seems work fine next time try start game, says "please insert warcraft iii cd...
