crashes when saving

so few times have gone save document , illustrator cs6 64 bit crashes. doesn't outright close, stops responding windows , of pallate windows , main window begin flash black , regular.

 

i've never seen in other version of illustrator before , kind of feeling sucker shelling out 6 hundred dollars it.

 

i run windows 8 on computer , worried incompatible os. have begun run program in windows 7 compatability mode. last 20 minutes hasn't crashed out, i've saved 2 documents , error has happend 3 times in month of using application, though 2 of times within hour of each other today.

 

i'm not 100% believe each file has happend on 1 had saved web.

 

has else been experiencing issue?

 

i found of crash log can in new os reads follows:

i'm not familiar action center control panel couldn't find additional information there. im going see if can on windows forum me further action center might have more data soon.

 

any appriciated.

i'm using os 10.7.5 , getting same issue. i'm not 100% sure i'm saving .png or .eps (usually .eps) , program stops responding. it's frusturating since illustrator doesn't have document recovery feature. can save .jpg (though i've had problem lot , i'm not sure if don't remember)

 

now keep os date , update every time il has something. can't find cause or solutoin. know it's not windows thing now.

 

now i'm on company computer don't have ability reinstall i'm going have our guys me , see how works out.
