Thread: 11.04 hangs on boot, start with older kernel works

hi,

i've upgraded natty (11.04).

problem occurring, , reoccurring, this:
- computer boots, hangs on purple screen (nothing on it). nothing happens, after 15 minutes or give waiting , hard reset.
- boot via grub (holding shift) recovery-mode: works fine, want gui, reboot.
- after reboot system hangs again, mentioned before.
- hard reset again, , booting previous kernel (2.6.32.8 ): works fine!
- restart again, boots in recent kernel (2.6.38.10): works fine now.
- try shutdown/restart again, problem re-occurs every time. use workaround startup older kernel again... , typing this...

anyone?

inflicted ureadahead? in case disable that, how?
prefer 'bomb-proof' on 'fast-boot'...

ok, last night upgrade 2.6.11.38 solved problem

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
