New to PE 11. What quality to expect burning miniDV input to DVD?

hello:

 

thanks reading.  tyring burn "decent" quality dvd of recent wedding.  have tried imovie, final cut express 4, , pe 11, , 3 give me lousy quality on dvd burn. need help, please.

 

long story short, recorded wedding on sony pd-170 in minidv format on sony tape. when watch film on 50" plasma straight camera, looks fine sd.  when author movie in of before mentioned programs, dvd looks awful on tv.  basic settings are...... 720x480 widescreen, 30pfs, output = max bit depth, @ highest quality. working on new apple imac 27" lion.

 

if have suggestions input settings, output setings, or @ might help, please let me know. appreciate it.

windows, not mac, far know matters file extension... ie- avi -vs- mov when firewire transfer saved hard drive

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
