Thread: Toshiba R835-P56x, sleep/resume, and screen brightness?

has else had issues adjusting screen brightness on toshiba r835-p56x laptop after sleep/resume?

i've found can adjust screen brightness using fn keys , gui tools before first sleep, not afterward.

/var/log/syslog shows "acpi: failed switch brightness" whenever press button, regardless of whether screen brightness change succeeded. gui notification shows shows brightness-bar appropriate whenever press key, regardless of whether screen brightness changed.

i'm running amd_64 version ubuntu natty narwhal unity interface on toshiba r835-p56x, upgraded memory , storage.

ideas?

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
