After Effect CS6 crashes after splash screen

i cannot after effects open. when try open software, splash screen, , window opens, stops responding before interface can appear. thought issue may have been virus protection (norton), tried shutting down firewall , restarting computer. seemed work me first time tried it; after effect opened , seemed work fine, next time started computer , opened software continued crash, , thought solution no longer worked. premiere, photoshop,and audition work fine. however, trial version of fx home's software, hitfilm 2, gives me same problem well. have tried alot both of these programs work no success. appreciate suggestions how might fix this.

 

computer spec:

win 7 64-bit

intel i7 960 3.2ghz

12 gb ddr3

nvidia 560 ti

update graphics driver. i'm sure info in event viewer confirm culprit.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
