Illustrator cs6 is freezing at start up

i have adobe illustrator  cs6 on mac mini. have been using everyday 3 weeks. art vector based. today clicked on icon in task bar. icon did regular jumping thing, began bounce higher. start screen came on. @ bottom says loading text , thing stuck on inizilializing. new box appears above , says can not perform task.

need illustrator now.

 

system

mac mini osx 10.8.2

proc. 2.5 ghz intel core i5

mem. 4gb 1600 mhz ddr3

 

please help.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
