maverick 10.10 kernel update 2.6.35-30.56, 2.6.35-30.58 created following output after every subsequent non-kernel update:

<failed process /etc/kernel/postinst.d @ /var/lib/dpkg/info/linux-image-2.6.35-30-generic.postinst line 1010.
dpkg: error processing linux-image-2.6.35-30-generic (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2>

research led me solution posted on forum dino99. but, before remove & reinstall grub-pc, suggested, please answer following question: have 2, hdds running windows 7 pro., , 10.10. grub still works great , allows flawless dual boot! "solution" create issues?

is real installation ? or maverick installed inside virtualbox guest ? or installed via wubi ?

if grub works well, no need reinstall it. check dkms installed (synaptic)

Catalogue Size

The "inactive" category

first of all, bunch. tool game-changer.   i wondering 'inactive' category, category called "waiting next frame". on 1 hand, when exporting gpu rendering, category has high value every second frame or , low value rest, leading average lot of weird peaks. on other hand, 'inactive' category greyed out - mean posts in category somehow less significant others? hey boris,  may have explanation, first make sure using latest 11.5 version of flash player. let me know see when use version.   you've noticed use color in scout categorize various activites. grey happens color use waiting , idle time.   regards, mark shepherd scout engineering More discussions in Adobe Scout adobe
