changed database password - got website error - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

what actions should safely change database user password?

i new joomla, website stopped functioning when changed password.

the database username , password in file configuration.php in root folder of joomla installation has match username , password of database user of joomla database, given hosting provider.

if site in localhost server running in workstation, both of settings relatively easy manage.
