this first time linux.
installed ubuntu 11.4 under windows 7.
running ok till decided call updates.
after updates downloaded, , pc restarted, black screen appears following message:

gnu grub version 1.99~rc1-13 ubuntu3

minimal bash-like line editing supported.
first word, tab lists possible command completions. anywhere else tab list possible device or file completions.

Catalogue Size

what recommended catalogue size.  using elements 10.  reason ask backups external hd (on local home  network) taking forever! how big catalog ? its total size shown in first phase of backup. splitting catalog not recommended , backing 2 split catalogs require same time original one. integrated backup in organizer takes time required copying media files windows explorer. the writing time may different if use usb2, usb3 connections or networks...   http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/photoshop-elements-faq.htm#_backing_up_your http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/photoshop-elements-faq.htm#_splitting_and_rearranging   you might consider using incremental backups in elements or alternative backup softwares save time frequent updates, still rely on periodic full backups organizer (to run @ night). The "inactive" category

first of all, bunch. tool game-changer.   i wondering 'inactive' category, category called "waiting next frame". on 1 hand, when exporting gpu rendering, category has high value every second frame or , low value rest, leading average lot of weird peaks. on other hand, 'inactive' category greyed out - mean posts in category somehow less significant others? hey boris,  may have explanation, first make sure using latest 11.5 version of flash player. let me know see when use version.   you've noticed use color in scout categorize various activites. grey happens color use waiting , idle time.   regards, mark shepherd scout engineering More discussions in Adobe Scout adobe
