How do I re-import an original video clip

how re-import original video clip

 

i want re-edit particualr clip (68 secs) , have cleard old clip (13 secs). each time try import original clip imports portion edited ie. 13 seconds.

 

i have renamed clip, tried open in new project same thing - premier pro 5

please more precise actions took...

by giving detailed info on did (from beginning, when first imported "the clip" premiere) , want do, people, who'd youfinding solution.

but need understand exactly problem is.
