Problem with user registration email - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello, i've got weird problem in joomla site.
when user registers account, activation email sent me instead of users email address.
my settings,
send mail : yes
mailer* : php mail
from email : admin@mysite.com

problem activation email sent admin@mysite.com or whatever address insert there.

also in activation mail, says
hello test account
instead of actual username.
i checked /language/en-gb/en-gb.com_user.ini file,
it ok.

can please me on this?

you have settings wrong in global options of user manager. go ../administrator/index.php?option=com_config&view=component&component=com_users , change 'new user account activation' 'admin' 'self'
