Processing Form Data

hi,

 

i'm new cq , i'm trying achieve user registration , login functionality website.

 

below questions i'm looking clarifications

 

1. how process user entered data upon submission? since processing form data against external database/webservice, there generic approach can follow in cq achieve this?

 

expected functionality,

 

1. user fills form(any form)

2. upon submission process form data

3. based on processing, redirect result page.

 

request suggestions on this.

i prefer refer http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/developing/developing-forms.html know how can use existing ootb form component , various configuration options.

 

now once done above can configure form use custom servlet providing custom servlet path in "action configuration (content path)" inside "advance tab"

 

servlet process on form submission mentioned above. how can develop servlet refer earlier post example - http://forums.adobe.com/message/4830914#4830914

 

from above example can call servlet using "/libs/testservlet.json" same can set in (

"action configuration (content path)" inside "advance tab" mentioned above)
